Easy Coconut Cake

  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box white cake mix
  • 3 egg whites (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 13 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 12 cups white icing
  • 1 12 cups shredded coconut

    Make cake as following directions on box.

    Pour into two 9-inch round cake pans.

    Bake at 350F for 28-30 minutes.

    Cool on wire racks.

    Drain pineapple well - put on top of one layer - then put some of the icing on top of pineapple.

    Put the two layers together.

    use the remaining frosting all over the cake.

    Cover the entire cake with coconut.
