- 2 tubes Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Grease a 10 x 15-inch pan.

2Press one package of rolls onto pan.

3Mix together the cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla and lemon juice. Cover the flattened rolls with cream cheese mixture. Press out second package of rolls

4onto waxed paper. Transfer this thin layer of crescent rolls onto cream cheese layer. Remove waxed paper.

5Paint with egg white.

6Sprinkle with sugar and slivered almonds.

7Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Cool and serve.
