Easy Dill-Onion Bread

  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp. dried dill seed
  • 2 tsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 egg

Directions

    In a small mixer bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of the flour and the yeast.

    In a saucepan, heat milk, sugar, butter, dill seed, onion and 1 teaspoon salt just until warm (115° to 120°), stirring constantly to melt butter.

    Add to dry mixture; add egg.

    Beat at low speed with electric mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping bowl.

    Beat 3 minutes at high speed.

    By hand, stir in remaining flour.
