1{"0":"Place enough oil in frying pan so the tomatoe slices float, and heat oil to frying temp.","2":"Crack 1-2 eggs into a shallow bowl. Add a splash of milk and salt & peper and mix.","4":"In another shallow bowl have your flour. I like to add a spoon full of bread crumbs to this for added flavor.","6":"Slice the tomatoes (normal thickness) and dip them in the egg mixture. Then coat them with the flour, and place in the frying pan once it's warm enough.","8":"You want them at least golden brown. Turn them as needed.","10":"When you take them out, place them on a strainer to cool. This prevents them from getting to 'soggy'.","12":"Serve with Ranch dressing.","14":"I've read that you can also cook mildly ripe tomatoes also. I have not tried those yet. Make sure they are not too ripe, or they are reported to fall apart."}
