- 3/4 stick margarine
- 3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1 can fruit or fruit pie filling
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Melt margarine in square 8 or 9-inch baking dish.

2Mix flour, sugar, milk and egg until well blended.

3Pour in pan over melted margarine.

4Do not mix.

5Then spoon fruit or pie filling over batter.

6Do not mix.

7Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until golden brown on top.

8Serve warm or cold.

9May top with vanilla ice cream.

10Recipe can be doubled for a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
