- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 can fruit pie filling or fresh fruit thickened with tapioca
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into a large bowl.

2Add milk and stir.

3Melt butter in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

4Pour batter into pan.

5Spoon fruit over top.

6Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.

7Serve warm.
