  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 can fruit pie filling or fresh fruit thickened with tapioca
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into a large bowl.

    Add milk and stir.

    Melt butter in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

    Pour batter into pan.

    Spoon fruit over top.

    Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.

    Serve warm.
