  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 can fruit (your choice)

    In bowl, melt butter; add mixture of flour and sugar. Add milk and salt. Add fruit (do not mix fruit in). Bake at 300° until brown. Crust will rise above fruit.
