  • 18 ounces sugar cookie mix
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 34 teaspoons baking soda
  • 14 teaspoon white pepper
  • 12 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 13 cup decorator sugar (course, white)

Directions

    Mix cookie mix with cocoa, spices and baking soda until well mixed (should have the appearance of chocolate cookie mix).

    Add butter and egg, mix well.

    Using about 1 tablespoon dough, form into 1 inch disks and coat with the coarse sugar.

    Place on ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes.

    Let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes.

    Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
