Easy Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. lasagna
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 4 c. thick spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 c. Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
  • 3 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Directions

    Brown ground beef and drain.

    Add spaghetti sauce, water, salt, seasoning and sugar.

    Cover and let simmer for 10 minutes. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer sauce, uncooked lasagna, cottage or Ricotta cheese and Mozzarella.

    Repeat layers, ending with sauce and remaining cheese.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Remove foil and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
