- 8 oz. lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 4 c. thick spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
- 3 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Directions

1Brown ground beef and drain.

2Add spaghetti sauce, water, salt, seasoning and sugar.

3Cover and let simmer for 10 minutes. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer sauce, uncooked lasagna, cottage or Ricotta cheese and Mozzarella.

4Repeat layers, ending with sauce and remaining cheese.

5Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Remove foil and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

6Makes 8 to 10 servings.
