- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 32 oz. thick spicy spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 lb. cottage cheese (small curd)
- 3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 1/2 c. shredded yellow cheese (mild Cheddar)
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef.

2Drain off fat.

3Add spaghetti sauce, water, salt and sugar and simmer several minutes in a 13 3/4 x 8 1/2-inch pan.

4Layer 1/3 of the sauce and 1/2 of the uncooked noodles.

5Add 1 cup of cottage cheese, 1/3 cup of Mozzarella and mild Cheddar cheese.

6Repeat layers, ending with sauce and remaining Mozzarella, Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses.

7Cover with foil and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.

8Remove foil and let stand 10 minutes.

9Bake at 350° in oven.
