Ingredients

  • 1 (10 1/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pouch Campbell's dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

    In large bowl, mix thoroughly 1/2 cup mushroom soup, beef onion soup mix, bread crumbs and egg.

    In 12 x 8-inch baking pan, firmly shape meat mixture into 8 x 4-inch loaf.

    Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours or until done.

    Spoon off 2 tablespoons drippings and reserve.
