  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15 oz.) can mild taco sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. corn chips
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream

Directions

    Brown ground beef in skillet and drain.

    In mixing bowl, combine beans, taco sauce, tomato sauce and onion.

    Set aside 1 cup of corn chips and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese.

    Add remaining cheese and corn chips to bean mixture.

    Add meat to mixture.

    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and spread top with sour cream.

    You may swirl sour cream into mixture.

    Sprinkle top with reserved cheese and chips.

    Return to oven for 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Serves 6 to 8.
