Easy Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
  • 1 large egg

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar and salt.

    Add shortening to flour mixture. Mix with fork or pastry cutter until small like peas.

    In separate bowl beat with fork, water, vinegar and egg.

    Add mixture to flour mixture.

    Cover hands with flour and shape into ball.

    Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour before rolling out.

    Separate into 4 balls. This makes 4 crusts or 2 pies.

    This dough can also be frozen up to 2 months.

    Eat and enjoy pie.
