- 4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
- 1 large egg
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar and salt.

2Add shortening to flour mixture. Mix with fork or pastry cutter until small like peas.

3In separate bowl beat with fork, water, vinegar and egg.

4Add mixture to flour mixture.

5Cover hands with flour and shape into ball.

6Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour before rolling out.

7Separate into 4 balls. This makes 4 crusts or 2 pies.

8This dough can also be frozen up to 2 months.

9Eat and enjoy pie.
