Easy Popovers

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

    Grease 6 or 8 iron popover pan cups or custard cups.

    Place the custard cups on a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.

    Place the popover pan or custard cups in refrigerator to chill.

    In a medium mixing bowl, using a wooden spoon, stir together the flour, milk, eggs and salt until flour is moist (batter will be lumpy).

    Pour the batter into pan 1/2 full.

    Place pan in oven then set temperature at 400°. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.

    Serve hot.
