Ingredients

  • 2 deep dish pie crusts
  • 1 lb. sausage, scrambled and drained or 12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 c. onion, chopped (optional)
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 c. evaporated milk (1 can plus enough water to make 2 c.)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. shredded cheese

Directions

    Mix last 7 ingredients and pour into 2 deep dish pie crusts. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, uncovered.

    Reduce heat to 300° and bake for 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
