- 6 c. self-rising flour
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

2Set aside.

3Mix sugar, egg and shortening until shortening is almost melted.

4Add yeast mixture.

5Add flour slowly and mix well.

6Cover and put in refrigerator.

7Roll out and cut.

8Let stand 2 hours.

9Bake at 400° until brown.
