  • 2 or 3 lb. beef
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. ground allspice
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 6 bay leaves
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. sugar

    Marinate meat in pickle marinade for 3 days. Cook slowly at 350° for 2 to 3 hours in marinade. May add water. Meat should be cut into medium sized pieces.
