Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon, cut up
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- dash of garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 lb. spaghetti, uncooked
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Directions

1Fry bacon about 2 minutes; remove from pan and drain.

2Cook onions until soft; add ground beef and garlic powder.

3Brown lightly.

4Stir in salt, pepper, chili powder, tomato sauce, water and drained bacon.

5Cover and simmer 25 minutes.

6Break half spaghetti into greased 2-quart casserole.

7Cover with half the sauce and half the cheese.

8Repeat the layers.

9Cover.

10Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

11Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer, until browned and bubbly.
