  • 2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 4 to 5 carrots, cut up
  • 4 to 5 potatoes, cut up
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 to 5 stalks celery, cut up
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Accent
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 12 oz. can V-8 juice

Directions

    Put all ingredients into casserole or roasting pan and cover. Bake in 250° oven, for 4 hours.

    Stir several times during baking. Do not brown meat.

    During cooking, this will turn to a dark brown gravy.
