- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Heat butter and water to boiling. Stir in flour all at once, over low heat.

3Beat until ball is formed.

4Beat in eggs, one at a time until smooth.

5Can be done by hand or with a mixer.

6Drop by large spoonfuls onto very lightly greased cookie sheet to form a circle.

7(I grease just a ring about 9-inch diameter.)

8Bake at 400° for 50-55 minutes (be sure it is well browned or it may flatten while cooling).

9Cool away from drafts.

10Slice off top and remove some of the thicker strings with a fork.
