- 1/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- mushrooms (if desired)
- 8 slices white bread, quartered (minus crusts)
Directions

1Grease 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Place bread quarter slices on bottom of dish.

3Layer 2 types of cheeses and bacon.

4Combine eggs, milk and salt.

5Pour over bread/cheese/bacon mixture.

6Cover and refrigerate overnight.

7Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes or until center is set.

8If desired, before baking, top with sliced, fresh mushrooms.
