  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 12 slices bread, cut and remove crusts
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. milk
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown and drain sausage.

    Cool.

    Beat eggs with milk.

    Add salt, pepper, dry mustard and bread cubes.

    Fold in cheese and sausage.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan (no butter).

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Take out 1 hour before baking at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 9 to 10.
