- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 12 lb chipped beef, shredded
- 4 teaspoons butter
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 12 cup flour
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 quart milk
- 16 eggs
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 14 cup butter
Directions

1Saute bacon in large skillet.

2Remove from heat and add chipped beef, butter and most of the mushrooms.

3Stir to melt the butter.

4Sprinkle flour and pepper over mixture.

5Return to heatand gradually stir in milk.

6Cook until thick and smooth, stirring constantly.

7In a large bowl, beat the eggs, salt and milk.

8Melt butter in electric frying pan and gently scramble eggs.

9In an 11 x 13 inch pan, place 1/2 egg mixture and top with half sauce.

10Repeat the layers again.

11Sprinkle remaining mushrooms on top.

12Cover with foil.

13Bake one hour.
