  • 12 slices bread, cubed
  • 3/4 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Directions

    Layer bread and cheese in greased 9 x 12-inch pan.

    Mix together milk, eggs, salt and mustard.

    Pour over bread and cheese.

    Let set overnight.

    Before baking, pour 1/4 cup melted butter over the top.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 60 minutes.

    Serves 10 to 12.
