  • 6 slices firm white bread, crumbled
  • 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, crumbled
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

    Combine bread and cheese. Beat eggs and add to milk, salt and mustard.

    Pour over bread and cheese.

    Bake in a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole for 1 1/4 hours in a 325° oven. Tastes best when made in advance and placed in oven 1 1/4 hours before serving.
