Ingredients

  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg or vanilla

Directions

    Place milk and margarine together in a boiler and let come to a boil. Remove from heat. Beat eggs, sugar and nutmeg or vanilla with mixer until foamy. Add this to the milk mixture. Pour into a lightly baked pie crust and bake at 450° until pie starts to brown. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting.
