  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • nutmeg (optional)

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, milk, vanilla and salt.

    Place 1-quart casserole dish in a baking pan on oven rack.

    Pour mix into dish.

    Pour boiling water into pan around dish about 1-inch. Slide rack carefully into oven.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
