- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) crust
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Scald milk and butter.

3Beat together eggs, sugar and vanilla.

4Stirring together, gradually add milk and butter to the egg mixture.

5Beat together until foam forms on top. Pour into prepared crust.

6Bake 5 minutes.

7Reduce heat to 375° and cook 20 minutes or more until firm.

8Cool and serve.
