- 1/2 stick oleo or butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. milk, scalded
- nutmeg
Directions

1Combine butter or oleo, sugar and salt in mixer.

2Mix well and add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg.

3Add Eagle Brand milk.

4Add scalded milk slowly and then vanilla.

5Pour into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg.

6Bake in 400° oven for 10 minutes.

7Reduce heat to 325° and bake for approximately 25 minutes.

8Top will be browning and firm, but shimmering.
