- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large unbaked pie crust
Directions

1Preheat oven to 475°.

2Scald the milk and oleo.

3Beat eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla together.

4Add scalded milk (do not boil). Mix well.

5Pour into pie crust shell.

6Then put crust in oven and pour filling in.

7Bake for 5 minutes at 475°.
-
8Reduce heat and bake 10 minutes at 425°.

9Remove from oven and cool.
-
10Pie will be shaky, but will set as it cools.
