  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • nutmeg

    Beat eggs; add sugar until thick and heavy.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 300°.
