- 5 large eggs, well beaten
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 small tub whipped cream
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- ground nutmeg
Directions

1Stir together eggs, milk and sugar in a large saucepan (heavy pan).

2Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture coats a metal spoon.

3Remove from heat and place in a bowl of ice water, stirring

41 to 2 minutes.

5Stir in vanilla and chill in refrigerator from 4 to 24 hours (depending when you need it).

6At serving time, transfer chilled mixture to a punch bowl.

7Fold in whipped cream and sprinkle nutmeg over entire top.

8This is a great holiday drink that can be prepared well ahead of time.
