Egg Sausage Bake

  • 1 lb. bulk sausage
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 12 slices white bread, cubed
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 c. milk

    Brown and drain sausage; cool.

    Beat eggs and milk; add bread cubes.

    Fold in sausage and cheese.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan and refrigerate overnight.

    Remove from refrigerator one hour before baking.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Cool slightly before cutting. Serves 8 to 10.
