- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. heavy cream (whipped)
- 4 c. milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Beat sugar into egg yolks.

2Add salt, stir in milk.

3Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture coats spoon.

4Cool. Beat egg whites until foamy; gradually add 3 tablespoons sugar beating to soft peaks.

5Add to custard and mix thoroughly.

6Chill 3 to 4 hours.
