  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • Cream Fluff Frosting
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. rum flavoring
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Grease and flour 2 round 8 or 9 x 1 1/2-inch layer pans. Combine all ingredients except frosting.

    Blend on low 30 seconds, then beat on medium speed 3 minutes.

    Pour into pans and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

    Cool and frost.
