- 1 1/2 lb. sausage
- 8 slices bread
- 3/4 lb. shredded cheese (Cheddar)
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 can mushrooms
Directions

1Brown sausage (Deans or Owens); drain.

2In a 9 x 13-inch pan, cover bottom with 8 slices of bread, cut in cubes.

3Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese.

4Add drained sausage.

5Mix eggs (beaten) in milk and mustard and pour over sausage.

6Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight.

7In morning, top with can of mushrooms (drained) and bake at 350° for 1 hour.

8Serves 6 to 8 people. Serve with fruit and pastries.
