  • 10-cent mustard seed
  • 10-cent whole allspice
  • 10-cent saccharin
  • 10-cent alum
  • 1 c. salt
  • horseradish to taste

    Put ingredients in stone crock.

    Add cucumbers (washed) as gathered from garden time to time.

    Keeps indefinitely in brine. Can be used when cured 8 days.
