  • 3/4 cup flour, sifted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon peel, grated
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg

    Combine all the berry mixture ingredients, heat them gently and keep them warm while you make the dumplings.
