Elderberry syrup, immune support

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dry Elderberry or 1 cup fresh
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 1 stick cinnamon (optional )
  • 2 tbsp Freshly grated Ginger (optional)

Directions

    Add water,Elderberry, cinnamon and ginger in a pot and simmer for 45 minutes.

    When 45 minutes are up, the liquid would have reduced by half.

    Stain out the berries, ginger, cinnamon stick and let it cool.

    When it cools add the honey and place it in a jar.

    Store it in the fridge.

    It can last in the fridge for the winter season.

    One or two tablespoons is more than enough.
