  • 1 large elephant
  • 50 gal. brown gravy
  • 2 plump rabbits (optional)

    Cut elephant up into bite size pieces (takes about 2 months). Add enough gravy to cover elephant meat.

    Cook, covered, for 4 weeks at 425°.

    On the fifth week, uncover to brown the meat.

    Add rabbits if necessary for flavor accent, but most people do not like hare in their stew.

    Serves about 3,800 people.
