  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until creamy.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Add flour and salt alternately with milk and vanilla.

    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

    Bake in 325° oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Do not preheat oven; start in cold oven.
