  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. corn tortillas
  • oil
  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
