  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 c. bacon grease
  • 4 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 large can tomato juice
  • 1/2 large can water
  • 1 medium size bottle ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt to taste
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large onion
  • 12 corn tortilla shells
  • Velveeta cheese

Directions

    Mix garlic, bacon grease, chili powder and cornstarch together in a saucepan.

    Add tomato juice, water, ketchup, sugar, salt and Tabasco.

    Stir and bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
