- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 c. tomatoes
- 1 c. meat stock or water
Directions

1Cook onion, green pepper and garlic in butter until soft.

2Add flour, salt and chili powder; stir until smooth.

3Add tomatoes and meat stock or water.

4Cook until thick and smooth, about 5 minutes.

5Strain if desired (reserve vegetables).
