English Meat Pie

- 2 lb. lean stew meat
- 1 small onion
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 pkg. pie shells
Directions

1Cut stew meat into small to medium squares.

2Put into an oven-safe casserole dish or pot.

3Chop up onion and put in with meat.

4Add salt, pepper and bouillon cube and completely cover with water.

5Cook in oven for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours on about 250° to 300°.

6The slower you cook it the more tender the meat will be. Let cool, then put all the meat into a pie shell, covering the meat with the broth.

7Put on top pie shell and place on a cookie sheet.

8Cook at 425° until pie crust is brown.
