- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. almonds, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 lb. milk chocolate
Directions

1Cook butter, sugar and water (260°); stir constantly.

2Add almonds; continue cooking to 300° (hard crack stage).

3Stir continually; remove from heat. Add vanilla; pour into buttered pan.

4Cut up chocolate and put on top of candy while hot.

5As chocolate melts, spread evenly over candy.

6Sprinkle grated almonds over top.

7When chocolate is hard, it's ready to eat.
