- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Break eggs into bowl; add milk, flour and salt.

2Mix with spoon just until eggs are well blended.

3Disregard lumps.

4Fill 6 well-greased 5-ounce glass custard cups 3/4 full.

5Set in muffin tin for easy handling.

6Place in cold oven.

7Set at 450° and turn on heat.

8Do not open door for 1/2 hour.

9Popovers should be tall and buttery brown.

10Remove from oven and puncture 4 sides of neck to release steam.

11Return to oven for 10 minutes with heat off to crisp.
