  • 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Beat sugar, salt and eggs together.

    Add milk and cornstarch (moisten the cornstarch with a little milk).

    Add corn and melted butter.

    Stir together well.

    Pour into buttered casserole.

    Set in pan of hot water, as a custard, about 1 hour at 325° to 350°.
