  • 2 c. quartered onions
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • cracker or bread crumbs
  • melted butter

Directions

    Cook onions in salted water until tender.

    Drain and put in a buttered baking dish.

    Make a white sauce with the butter, flour and salt.

    Sprinkle with crumbs and melted butter.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes in preheated oven.
