  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1/2 c. melted oleo or butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 c. sour cream or 1 each: cream and yogurt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 c. corn flakes, crushed and mixed with 1/2 c. melted oleo

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Combine all ingredients, except corn flakes mixture.

    Sprinkle buttered corn flakes on top.

    Use a 3-quart casserole or large flat glass baking dish.

    Bake for one hour.
